Christmas Day always begins before breakfast.圣誕節(jié)常在早飯前開始。

The children wake up very early,孩子們醒來非常早,

and can't wait to open the presents in their stockings.和迫不及待地打開他們襪子里面的禮物。

Then they wake up their parents calling:然后他們醒來的時候,他們的父母打電話:

" Merry Christmas!" “圣誕快樂!”

Christmas Day is the birthday of Jesus Christ.圣誕節(jié)是耶穌基督的生日。

When he was born nearly two thousand years ago, 當他出生近二千年前,

many people gave him presents. 許多人送給他禮物。

So today people still do the same thing to each other. 所以今天人們?nèi)匀蛔鐾瑯拥氖虑榈矫總€其他。

Everyone likes presents,每個人都喜歡禮物,

but they think it's better to give than to receive.但他們認為這是給與比接受更好。
