B: No, he cannot. Dogs are pets, not family.
A: Spotty is older than I am!
B: That still doesn't make him a human.
A: Sometimes it seems like he can talk.

A: What if we put a hat on him?
B: Why would you want to do that?
A: Then he'll just look like my little brother.
B: You're really attached to him, aren't you?
A: Yes! He's like a part of the family, too.
B: Alright, he may be in the photo, but no hat!
