[A]9、aboard，abroad和board

① aboard意為“在公共汽車(chē)/船/火車(chē)/飛機(jī)上；上公共汽車(chē)/船/火車(chē)/飛機(jī)”，可作介詞式副詞。
They went there aboard the ship. 他們乘船去那里的。
It's time to go aboard. 上船/上車(chē)/登機(jī)時(shí)間到了。
Welcome aboard！歡迎乘坐本次航班/本次列車(chē)！
② abroad意為“到國(guó)外，去國(guó)外”，為副詞，可以說(shuō)from abroad（自國(guó)外），但“在國(guó)外”不可說(shuō)成in abroad，“去國(guó)外”要說(shuō)成go abroad。
He has returned from abroad. 他已從國(guó)外回來(lái)了。
They are still abroad. 他們?nèi)栽趪?guó)外。
They have lived abroad for over ten years. 他們?cè)趪?guó)外已住了十多年了。
③ board用作動(dòng)詞時(shí)，亦表示“上船/車(chē)/飛機(jī)”，為及物動(dòng)詞。
