159　clean，clear，sweep和wipe

① clean用作形容詞時(shí)，意為“干凈的，清潔的”，指沒(méi)有灰塵或剛清掃過(guò)。

The room is clean and tidy. 這房間又干凈又整潔。

They always keep the classroom clean. 他們總是使教室保持清潔。

② clean用作動(dòng)詞時(shí)，指用各種方式“打掃”干凈。

Mother cleaned the house for New Year's Day. 母親把房子打掃干凈過(guò)新年。

Can you clean the coat of these dirt marks？你能把大衣上的這些污跡洗掉嗎？

③ clear用作形容詞時(shí)，意為“（天氣）晴朗的，（言語(yǔ)）清楚的，（圖像）清晰的”。
