① conversation非正式交談。

The managers had a conversation shortly before the ball was held. 舞會(huì)前經(jīng)理們談了話。

② dialogue對(duì)話，交換意見、看法，往往是書上或劇本中書面交談，或者是國(guó)家團(tuán)體的意見交流。

The dialogue is humorous and that's why I like to read the book. 對(duì)話風(fēng)趣，所以我喜歡讀那本書。

③ monologue獨(dú)白，自言自語(yǔ)，可以是書上或劇本上的，也可以是平時(shí)一個(gè)人無(wú)意識(shí)說(shuō)出來(lái)的話。

④ talks（正式）會(huì)談，談話。

The two presidents met for border talks. 兩位總統(tǒng)相聚進(jìn)行正式邊界會(huì)談。
