198　decide和decision

① decide可用作及物動詞和不及物動詞，意為“決定，下決心”。用作及物動詞時，結(jié)構(gòu)為：

decide to do sth.

decide when/who/what…+不定式

decide+that從句或what從句

be decided+that從句

He can decide the matter for you. 他能為你決定此事。

She decided to move to Nanjing. 她決定遷到南京。

He decided not to accept the invitation. 他決定不接受邀請。

I can't decide what to do with it. 我不能決定如何處置它。

Have you decided whom to invite？你決定了該邀請誰嗎？

Let's first decide where we should go. 讓我們先決定去哪里。

=Let's first decide where to go.

It has been decided that he will teach us English. 已決定由他教我們英語。

（decide后不跟動名詞）

She decided to buy a dictionary.

她決定買一本詞典。

他們決定我去開會。

They have decided me to go to the meeting.

（decide后不可跟復合賓語）

They have decided that I should go to the meeting.

② decide用作不及物動詞時，常同副詞或介詞短語連用。decide on/upon sth. 表示“就某事做出決定”。

You should decide for yourself. 你應(yīng)該自己做出決定。

You must decide two days ahead. 你必須提前兩天做出決定。

He hasn't decided on the matter yet. 他還沒有就那件事做出決定。

③ decision是decide的名詞形式，表示“決定，果斷，決議”，為可數(shù)名詞，常用于下列搭配中：

come to a decision決定

make a decision做出決定

arrive at a decision 決定

a man of decision果斷的人

They made a decision at the meeting. 他們在會上做出了決定。

He hasn't arrived at a decision yet. 他還沒有做出決定。
