393　interest和interests

① interest用作名詞，表示“興趣”時(shí)，常同show，have，take，find，lose等動(dòng)詞連用，可以說(shuō)show/have/take/find an interest，但不可說(shuō)show/have/take/find interests。

She takes/has an interest in music. 她對(duì)音樂感興趣。

He shows no interest in the picture. 他對(duì)這幅畫不感興趣。

② interest用作名詞，表示“利益”時(shí)，常用復(fù)數(shù)形式。

They work hard for the interests of the people. 他們?yōu)槿嗣竦睦娑趭^工作。

③ interest也可用作動(dòng)詞，為及物動(dòng)詞，意為“使發(fā)生興趣，引起……的好奇心”。結(jié)構(gòu)為：

interest sb.

be interested in sth.

This book interests her. 這本書引起了她的興趣。

He was interested in the matter. 他對(duì)這件事感興趣。
