① 下面幾種結(jié)構(gòu)含義不同:
be known as作為……知名,被稱作是,叫作(后接“身份”名詞)
be known by憑……而知(by表示手段式標(biāo)準(zhǔn),意為“憑借,通過”)
be known for因……而聞名,因……而眾所周知
be known to為……所知,人們知道(不用介詞by)
She was well known as an excellent writer. 她是一位公認(rèn)的優(yōu)秀作家。
He is known to everybody in the neighbourhood. 鄰里都熟悉他。
One can be known by his words and deeds. 觀其言行,知其人品。
A man is known by the company he keeps. 見其交友,知其為人。
The mountain is known for its beautiful scenery. 這座山因風(fēng)景優(yōu)美而著名。
She is known to be good at folk dance. 人們知道她擅長民間舞蹈。

①It is known that意為“眾所周知”。
It is known to us that China has a long history. 我們都知道,中國有著悠久的歷史。
②know與know of有所不同。know表示“知道,認(rèn)識”;know of表示“知道有關(guān)情況,聽說過”。
I don't know the musician,but I know of him. 我不認(rèn)識這位音樂家,但我是曉得他的。
② get to know表示的是終止性動作,而know則表示持續(xù)性動作。

know表示“見到過,聽到過”,可用于“know+賓語+不定式”結(jié)構(gòu)。
