① nearly和almost在肯定句中，都作“幾乎，差不多”解，?？蓳Q用。

Nearly/Almost all the children like the book. 幾乎所有的兒童都喜歡這本書。

② almost表示的程度要更準確些。

It's almost 11 o'clock. 差不多11點了。

③ almost可以說是幾分鐘之差，nearly表示的時間差則可以大些。nearly可與not單獨連用，不可修飾no，never，none，nothing；almost不可與not單獨連用，但可修飾no，never，none，nothing。
