Twin suicide attacks rocked central and eastern Afghanistan on Monday, killing at least 12 people and wounding some 30 others. The blasts hit Kabul and eastern Jalalabad, the capital of Nangarhar province, and came a day before the Afghan government plans to enforce the weeklong armistice with the Taliban.
