give something over 為某人騰出，傳達(dá)

give sth over (to sb)表示“給某人傳達(dá)某物”，與 hand over 的意義相近，另外，give oneself over 表示“專注于或屈服于某事”。

例句：

I'll give the money over to Charles.

我會(huì)把錢轉(zhuǎn)交給查斯的。

Give it over to your mother.

把這個(gè)交給你媽媽。

Why don't you give this book over to Tom?
