　　Rumor has it 聽(tīng)到了……的傳聞

　　喜歡在別人后面說(shuō)三道四的人們最常用的表達(dá)。表示“傳聞中說(shuō)……”，在 Rumor has it 后面加主語(yǔ)+動(dòng)詞的句式就可以了。它與 get wind of 具有相同的含義，也可以用 word 代替 rumor。

　　例句：

　　Rumor has it he's going to quit.

　　聽(tīng)說(shuō)他要辭職不干了。

　　Rumor has it the store's going to shut down.

　　聽(tīng)說(shuō)這家店要關(guān)門(mén)了。

　　Rumor has it you're going back to New York.

　　聽(tīng)說(shuō)你要回紐約了。

　　對(duì)話：

　　A:Brad and Allison were arguing this morning.
