　　call off 取消，停止

　　我們比較熟悉的短語，其含義也比較簡單。某計(jì)劃需要終止或取消時(shí)可以使用，理解成 call off= cancel 就可以了。

　　例句：

　　I want you to end it. I want you to call off the wedding.

　　我希望你能做到取消婚禮。

　　You can call off the roommate search!

　　別找室友了。

　　He told me that Leo called off his engagement with Jane.
