stay here 留在這里

stay here (there) 表示留在這里（那里），后面經(jīng)常會(huì)接 with somebody 或表達(dá)時(shí)間的詞組。另外，如果主語(yǔ)變成事物的話，stays here 表示“這是秘密”。

例句：

I'll just stay here with you.

我會(huì)留在這里陪你的。

I'm going to stay there for a while.

我要去那待一會(huì)兒。

My mom is waiting for me. I can't stay here all night.

我媽正在等我。我不能在這里待一宿。

What is said here, stays here.
