stay over 停留，留宿一宿，在外面過夜

stay over 特別指晚上不住在家里，在外面過夜，另外，搭乘飛機(jī)時中轉(zhuǎn)過程也可以叫做 stay over。

例句：

We'll stay over till he shows up.

我們會等到他出現(xiàn)的。

I will stay over till your mother comes back.

我會等到你媽回來的。

Do you need me to stay over for a couple of days?
