How do you like to go up in a swing,	蕩呀蕩著秋千上藍天，
Up in the air so blue?	上藍天，你呀喜歡不喜歡?
Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing	我想小孩兒最愛蕩秋千，
Ever a child can do !	蕩著秋千真好玩，真好玩!
Up in the air and over the wall,	蕩過圍墻邊呀蕩上天，
Till I can see so wide,	我看到天地這么寬，這么寬，
Rivers and trees and cattle and all	我看到河流、樹木和牛羊，
Over the countryside -----	我看到田野沒有邊，沒有邊……
Till I look down on the garden green,	我再往下看，綠色大花園，
Down on the roof so brown ----	棕色的屋頂在眼前，在眼前——
Up in the air I go flying again,	我重新又蕩著秋千上藍天，
Up in the air and down !	我在空中上下翻，上下翻!
