Fate has ordained that the men who went to the moon to explore in peace will stay on the moon to rest in peace.
命運注定這些登陸月球進行和平探索的人們將安息在月球上了。
These brave men, Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin, know that there is no hope for their recovery. But they also know that there is hope for mankind in their sacrifice.
這兩位勇者——尼爾·阿姆斯特朗和埃德溫·奧爾德林——早就知道他們沒有返航的希望。但是他們也知道,因了他們的犧牲,人類將擁有更多的希望。
These two men are laying down their lives in mankind’s most noble goal: the search for truth and understanding.

They will be mourned by their families and friends; they will be mourned by their nation; they will be mourned by the people of the world; they will be mourned by a Mother Earth that dared send two of her sons into the unknown.
他們將被他們的親友悼念,他們將被他們的國家悼念,他們將被全世界的人們悼念,他們更將會被敢于將自己的兒子送往未知的地球母親所悼念。
In their exploration, they stirred the people of the world to feel as one; in their sacrifice, they bind more tightly the brotherhood of man.
他們的探索,鼓舞全世界的人們團結(jié)一心;他們的犧牲,讓人類的兄弟之情更加緊密。
In ancient days, men looked at stars and saw their heroes in the constellations. In modern times, we do much the same, but our heroes are epic men of flesh and blood.
古時,人們仰望星空,從星座中看到他們想象中的英雄?,F(xiàn)在,我們一樣仰望星空,但看到的是我們自己的血肉鑄就的英雄。
Others will follow, and surely find their way home. Man’s search will not be denied. But these men were the first, and they will remain the foremost in our hearts.
追隨著英雄的腳步,未來將有更多的人步入太空,他們也一定會找到回家的路。人類探索宇宙的步伐不會因此停頓。他們是第一批, 他們必將在我們的心中永垂不朽。
For every human being who looks up at the moon in the nights to come will know that there is some corner of another world that is forever mankind.
