愛(ài)情與時(shí)間

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love.

很久很久以前，有一個(gè)島國(guó)，那里住了所有的感情：快樂(lè)，悲傷，謙虛，貪婪，知識(shí)，愛(ài)情......

One day it was announced to all of the feelings that the island was going to sink to the bottom of the ocean.so all the feelings prepared their boats to leave. Except for Love. Love was the only one who stayed. She wanted to preserve the island paradise until the last possible moment.

有一天，這個(gè)小島即將沉沒(méi)，于是除了愛(ài)情大家都趕緊收行李，坐上自己的小船，準(zhǔn)備逃離這個(gè)小島。愛(ài)情是唯一留下來(lái)的，他要堅(jiān)守到最后一刻。

When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.

當(dāng)整個(gè)島都沒(méi)入了海洋，愛(ài)情決定向其他感情求助。

Just then Richness was passing by in a grand boat. Love asked, "Richness, can you take me with you?"

財(cái)富駕駛著它的大船第一個(gè)經(jīng)過(guò)，愛(ài)情對(duì)它說(shuō):“財(cái)富，你可以帶我一起走嗎？”

Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."

財(cái)富回答說(shuō)：“我的船上全都是金銀珠寶，根本沒(méi)有多余的空間了，所以我?guī)筒涣四?。?

Then Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity, please help me!"

虛榮駕駛著漂亮的船經(jīng)過(guò)，愛(ài)情對(duì)它說(shuō)： “虛榮，請(qǐng)帶我一起走吧！”

"I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat," Vanity answered.

虛榮看了看愛(ài)情說(shuō)：“你全身濕噠噠的，我的船這么漂亮，我怕你弄臟我的船?！?

Next,Love saw Sadness passing by so Love asked, "Sadness, let me go with you." "Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be alone now."

這時(shí)候悲傷剛好經(jīng)過(guò)，愛(ài)情又向它求救。但是悲傷同樣的也拒絕了，因?yàn)楸瘋缫呀?jīng)習(xí)慣了孤孤單單一個(gè)人……

Then Happiness passed by Love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.

不久快樂(lè)也劃船過(guò)來(lái)了，但是它只顧著哼著愉快的歌，完全沒(méi)有注意到愛(ài)情的求救。

Love began to cry.Then,she heard a voice say, "Come, Love, I will take you with me." It was an elder.

就在愛(ài)情感到心灰意冷的時(shí)候，傳來(lái)了一個(gè)老者聲音：“我?guī)阋黄鹱甙桑　?/P>

So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder ’s  name . When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way.

不久它們到達(dá)了陸地，老者放下了愛(ài)情，又繼續(xù)自己的旅程了……獲救的愛(ài)情這才想起，忘了問(wèn)那位老者的姓名。

Realizing how much was owed the elder,Love asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who helped me?"

于是，愛(ài)情去問(wèn)另一位叫“智慧”的老者：“那天是誰(shuí)救了我？”

"It was Time," Knowledge answered.

“時(shí)間！”智慧老人回答道。

"Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?"

“時(shí)間？”愛(ài)情問(wèn)道？“它為什么會(huì)救我？”

Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and sincerity,answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is."

智慧老人微微一笑，回答道：“只有時(shí)間才會(huì)明白，愛(ài)情的價(jià)值有多大！”
