Lucy says that she has "matching sheets and pillowcases." 露西說(shuō)她有“配套的床單和枕套。”

The sheet, "sheet," is what goes over the bed - what covers the bed so that the bed does not get dirty. 床單(sheet)鋪滿整個(gè)床，蓋在床上，床才不會(huì)臟。

When we say the sheets are matching we mean that the colors are the same or they are similar so they look good together. 我們說(shuō)床單是配套的，意思是他們顏色相同或者相近，這樣放在一起看起來(lái)比較協(xié)調(diào)。

Pillowcases, "pillowcases," (plural) pillowcases are what cover your pillows2 - what you put your head on when you sleep, that's called a pillow1. 枕套(pillowcases)(復(fù)數(shù)形式)要包在枕頭上，你睡覺(jué)的時(shí)候頭要放在枕頭上邊。

So, the pillowcase goes over the pillow. 枕套就是包在枕頭上的。

Lucy says she also has "a comforter made of goose down." 露西說(shuō)她還有“厚鵝絨被子”。

A comforter is a thick blanket - a big blanket. "Comforter," a thick blanket. 厚被子(comforter)就是很厚的毯狀物，也很大。

This comforter "is made of goose down." 這里的厚被子是“鵝絨”的。

Goose, "goose," down, "down," (two words). 鵝絨(goose down)由兩個(gè)詞組成。

A goose is a kind of animal. Down refers to the feathers of the animal, "feathers," the feathers. 鵝是一種動(dòng)物。絨是指動(dòng)物的羽毛(feathers)。

The feathers are the things that a bird has that covers its skin. 羽毛覆蓋在鳥(niǎo)類的皮膚上。

They're usually long and very soft. So, goose down pillows or goose down comforters are considered very soft and they're very warm. 羽毛通常很長(zhǎng)也很軟。所以，大家都覺(jué)得鵝毛枕頭或者鵝絨被子很軟很暖和。
