The word toner comes from the verb to tone, "tone," which has a couple of different meanings, 潤(rùn)膚水，這個(gè)詞來(lái)自動(dòng)詞“繃緊”，它有好幾個(gè)意思，

but is often used when you are talking about your muscles -that you want to make your muscles stronger so that they look better. 但是當(dāng)你談?wù)撃愕募∪鈺r(shí)，比如說(shuō)你想讓你的肌肉更強(qiáng)壯，看起來(lái)更好，經(jīng)常用到它。

This is a case of using the word as a noun, with an "r" at the end, toner， 潤(rùn)膚水toner是它作名詞的一個(gè)例子，在末尾有一個(gè)“r”，

and as we said, it is a liquid that some women put on their face at night. 之前說(shuō)過(guò)，它是一些婦女在晚上涂在臉上的液體。

After Lucy puts this toner on her face,then she puts on "some moisturizer." 在露西把這種潤(rùn)膚水涂在臉上之后，她又抹了一層“保濕霜”。

Moisturizer, "moisturizer," comes from the word moist, "moist," which means wet,the opposite of dry. 保濕霜"moisturizer"，來(lái)自單詞濕潤(rùn)的"moist"，意思是濕的，干的反義詞。

If we say something is moist, we mean that it is wet - there is water on it. 如果我們說(shuō)某物是潮濕的，意思是它是濕的——上面有水。

A moisturizer, as a noun, is a liquid that women put on their face, and sometimes their arms and legs, 保濕霜，作名詞，是指女性涂在臉上的液體，有時(shí)是胳膊和腿，

to make the skin less dry - to give their skin more moisture, which is another noun that comes from the word moist. 會(huì)給她們的皮膚提供更多的水分，不讓皮膚那么干燥。水分“moisture”，是另一個(gè)是來(lái)自單詞潮濕"moist"的名詞。

It also makes their skin a little softer. 保濕霜也會(huì)使她們的皮膚變得更柔軟。

Then Lucy combs her hair and ties "it back." 然后露西梳理她的頭發(fā)，把它綁起來(lái)。

To comb, "comb," as a verb, means to use an instrument to straighten your hair 梳，"comb"，作為動(dòng)詞，意思是使用一個(gè)工具來(lái)理順你的頭發(fā)，

to put it in a certain place - to move your hair in a certain way. 然后用某種方式移動(dòng)你的頭發(fā)，把它固定在一個(gè)位置。

The thing that you use is called a comb, "comb." So, it's both a verb and a noun. 你使用的東西叫做梳子，"comb" 。所以，它既是動(dòng)詞又是名詞。

A comb is usually a long piece of plastic, sometimes metal, that has little - almost like little sticks that come out of it, 梳子通常是一塊長(zhǎng)塑料，有時(shí)是金屬，里面有從主體部分伸出來(lái)的類(lèi)似小棍的東西，
