A snail crossing the road was run over by a turtle. Later at the hospital he regained consciousness and was asked what happened. "It happened so fast I can’t remember," the snail replied.

一只正在過(guò)馬路的蝸牛被一只烏龜碾過(guò)。

后來(lái)在醫(yī)院蝸?；謴?fù)了意識(shí)，被問(wèn)起發(fā)生了什么事。

“失去意識(shí)”用lose consciousness,表達(dá)“恢復(fù)意識(shí)”的動(dòng)詞可以用recover或regain。

3. "It happened so fast I can’t remember," the snail replied.

蝸牛因“發(fā)生得大快.我不記得了。”

fast的后面省略了一個(gè)that,這個(gè)句型已在前面出現(xiàn)多次，即“so...(that)...”(如此······以致于······)。

從人類(lèi)的角度來(lái)看，烏龜?shù)膭?dòng)作是很慢的;但是在蝸?？磥?lái)，烏龜就很快。所以有人說(shuō)：“世界上沒(méi)有絕對(duì)的真理， 只有相對(duì)的真理。”
