I've just spent a night on a desert island in the Torres Strait near Papua New Guinea. 我在巴布亞新幾內(nèi)亞托雷斯海峽 的荒島上度過了一夜

Quite a crazy night with all of those birds going nonstop in this tree. 真是個(gè)瘋狂的夜晚 整晚都有鳥在這里起起落落

It's like living inside an aviary. 就像是生活在鳥舍里

I'm using a bit of this cuttlefish just to sharpen my knife again, put an edge back on it. 我用這塊墨魚 來打磨我的小刀 開開仞

The salt water's so corrosive here,anything's just gonna rust out. 這兒的海水腐蝕性太強(qiáng)了 一切都不能幸免于難

Okay.Time to get on.A new day means a new round In the endless cycle of desert survival. 好了 是時(shí)候出發(fā)了 新一天的到來 意味著永無止境的 荒島求生之旅 展開了新的篇章

There's a sea cave.Always worth checking these out. 這兒有個(gè)海蝕洞 這地方總是值得一探究竟

High tides bring all sorts of useful things into sea caves like this. 漲潮時(shí) 各種有用的東西 會(huì)被沖進(jìn)這樣的海蝕洞中

This is old netting.There's a load of it.I'm gonna cut some of this netting. 這是個(gè)舊漁網(wǎng) 這種東西里面還有很多 我要切下這漁網(wǎng)的一部分

Super-useful stuff. So much I can do with that. 非常有用的東西 我可以用它來做很多事

I'm gonna see if this cave leads through to the other side of the island. 我想看看這個(gè)洞 是不是能通到島的另一端

There's water in here,which means this cave floods at high tide,and I don't want to get trapped. 這里有水 意味著漲潮時(shí) 海水會(huì)淹沒這里 我可不想被困于此

But now I've got clear daylight to follow.There's an exit out here. 但現(xiàn)在 我有一整天的時(shí)間 這里有個(gè)出口

And I've spotted something else.There's another island, as well.Let's get out. 我還發(fā)現(xiàn)了其他的東西 這邊還有個(gè)島嶼 我們出去吧
