The number of confirmed deaths from Coronavirus around the world have now passed 100.000. Italy has suffered the most deaths, followed by the United States. Lockdown imposed to limit the spread of the virus has crippled economic activity, and many governments are facing a dilemma on when to start easing restrictions. President Trump said it was the biggest decision he'd ever have to make.

The U.S surgeon general has urged people of color to avoid alcohol, tobacco and drugs to reduce their risks of contracting Covid-19. Doctor Jerome Adams said the virus was disproportionally affecting black and other minority communities, partly because they have more chronic health conditions.

Apple and Google are joining developing technology to alert people if they recently come into contact with others found to be infected with coronavirus. It will work by using a phone's Bluetooth signal to determine if the owner has recently been in proximate to someone, who later tested positively for Covid-19.
