不要為作惡者心懷不平，也不要對邪惡始作俑者心生嫉妒;
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb.
因?yàn)樗麄兦∷撇萁婢鸵桓钕?，又如青苔就要枯干?/p>
Trust in the Lord, and do good; So shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
虔信上帝而行善;就能住在地上，真正得到滋養(yǎng)。
Delight thyself also in the Lord, And he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
也以上帝為樂，他將你心里的希求賜予你。
Commit thy way unto the Lord; Trust also in him, and he shall bring it to pass.
你對上帝坦誠;也對他完全信任，他就會(huì)還你誠心。
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, And thy judgment as the noonday.
他將你的正義如光般呈示，你的判斷將明如正午的陽光。
Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him.
依靠上帝，就要耐心等候。
Fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, Because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
不要因那人一時(shí)興旺發(fā)達(dá)而心懷不平，因?yàn)樗且蛐皭翰庞兴删汀?/p>
Cease from anger, and forsake wrath:
止住怒火，戒絕憤怒：
Fret not thyself in any wise to do evil, For evil doers shall be cut off:
不要心懷不平，以致喪失明智乃至作惡，因?yàn)樾皭航K將被鏟除：
But those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.
那些等待上帝的人，必將繼承土地的饒富。
For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be;
尚有片刻，邪惡之人將化為烏有;
Yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.
縱使你詳查他的住處，亦將化為烏有。
But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
但是，溫順之人將繼承土地的饒富，以生活在安寧的豐饒中為樂。
