New Year’s resolutions
a list of goals you want to achieve in the upcoming year 在即將到來的一年,想要實現(xiàn)的目標清單

New Year’s resolutions 一般都是關(guān)于:health, fitness, improved finances(改善財務(wù)狀況),personal and professional development(個人和職業(yè)發(fā)展)

It’s quite a big deal. 是一件大事。
It is a great way to plan your goals.
A great way to reflect on what you want to achieve in the upcoming year. 來反思你想在接下來的一年里實現(xiàn)什么
It is not easy to set good and realistic goals.設(shè)定切實可行的目標不容易。
Everyone has good intentions(意圖,打算) for the new year but once the glow of the fresh year wears off(褪去), many people struggle to keep up with achieving their new year goals. 新鮮的一年,光環(huán)褪去之后,很多人就很難去堅持了。
Some tips to write New Year’s resolutions
No 1: Prepare for change mentally. 從心理上做好改變的準備。
Look back to the previous year(回顧過去的一年),問自己幾個問題:
what you accomplished(實現(xiàn)了哪些)
what you want to change(想改變什么)
what you are proud of(自豪于什么)
No 2: Set goals that motivate you. 列出能夠激勵自己的目標。
The goals need to be important to you and align around(與……結(jié)合) your top priorities(最重要的事).
Create a plan.
To make a plan of what you need to do per week or per month.大目標切成小目標。
This will help you stay motivated on the path towards(通往……的道路) your goal.
No 3: Limit your resolutions. 限制新年決心。
很多人都會犯的錯誤是:to have too many resolutions and spreading yourself too thin.把自己切分得太薄了(讓自己干的事情太多了)
Don’t spread yourself too thin.
It is important to prioritize.確定 (任務(wù)) 優(yōu)先順序。
No 4: Be specific. 具體一點。
Instead of writing “ be more healthy”, be more specific by writing “drink more water”, “quit smoking”, “eat more vegetables” etc.
Make sure it is realistic. 目標一定要現(xiàn)實。
Give yourself a time frame in which to achieve the goal, like a deadline. 列一個時間表,有截止日期之類的。
No 5: Start small. 從簡單的開始。
Divide big goals into smaller goals, it will make it more achievable. 由大化小,讓目標可實現(xiàn)。
Break up a yearly goal into months. It will be easier to keep track as well.全年目標拆分為每月目標,這樣也比較容易在正軌上。
No 6: Write down your goals and review them. 寫下來,時?;仡櫋?/p>
This will remind you of your goals and keep you motivated throughout the year.
這樣會提醒自己,目標是什么,也會全年充滿動力去實現(xiàn)目標。
No 7: If you fall off track, don’t give up and get back to it. 如果偏軌,不要放棄,再回來。
Change is difficult. Setbacks can happen and it’s OK. 幾經(jīng)周折很正常,事物的發(fā)展總是曲折變化的。
