Don’t arrange such a tight schedule. Leave some time to spare.

go up in smoke: When he crashed his car, all his travel plans went up in smoke.

a change of pace:

tailor to: 根據(jù)…… 同義的表達(dá)還有accord with; account to; adapt; be favourable for等。

3. The firm will reimburse you for any traveling costs which you may have paid on your business trip.

4. The young man took advantage of this good opportunity to go on a business trip with his boss and gained the boss’s favor.

His income is inadequate to meet the expenses.

A: What do you plan to do for your holiday?
B: Oh, it went up in smoke. I have to go on a business trip with my boss.
A: Where?
B: Miami.
A: Well, Miami is a perfet place to be on holiday, you know.
B: I know. But a business trip is tiring to me.
A: Oh, take it easy. Maybe it’s not so bad as you imagined.
B: I hope so.
A: You know, I’ve dreamed a thousand times that I could lie down on Miami beach to relax myself.
B: So have I. But it’s not always nice and sunny there, sometimes cloudy and rainy.
A: But I don’t think it will spoil your trip. Anyhow, I hope you’ll have a nice trip.
B: Thanks a lot.
