252　bank, beach和shore

1　bank 意為“岸”，指河或湖的岸，也可指河邊或湖邊的“堤防”。

We took a walk along the bank of the Qinhuai River. 我們沿著秦淮河岸散步。

2　beach 意為“海濱，海灘”，指漲潮時有水退潮時無水的部分，或有沙、小石覆蓋的傾斜度小的部分。

I spent a whole day at the beach . 我在海濱度過了一整天。

The beach at sunset is very beautiful. 落日中的海濱很美。

3　shore 指大海、湖、河的岸，含有較強的與水相對的意味。

The ship reached shore 船已到岸。

The ship is about a mile from/off the shore . 那條船離岸大約有1英里。

She made her way down to the shore . 她向岸邊走去。
