Say over again, and yet once over again,
That thou dost love me. Though the word repeated

再說(shuō)一遍吧，說(shuō)完百遍說(shuō)千遍，
就說(shuō)你愛(ài)我。盡管你早已這樣做，
像布谷鳥(niǎo)一再重復(fù)布谷之歌；
請(qǐng)記?。簾o(wú)論何處，從山崗到平原，
從峽谷到林間，如沒(méi)有布谷的歌唱，
穿綠裝的明媚春天就呈現(xiàn)欠缺。
愛(ài)人啊，暗地里我總犯迷惑，
懷疑你的心聲，痛苦中我會(huì)呼喊：
“再說(shuō)一遍吧——就說(shuō)你始終愛(ài)著！”
誰(shuí)會(huì)嫌星星太多，即便星斗滿(mǎn)天？
誰(shuí)會(huì)嫌鮮花太多，即便四季不落？
說(shuō)你愛(ài)我吧，愛(ài)我，愛(ài)我，就像銀鈴
響個(gè)不停！——親愛(ài)的，聽(tīng)我說(shuō)，

[1]此詩(shī)為《葡萄牙人十四行詩(shī)》第21首。
[2]伊麗莎白·巴萊特·勃朗寧（Elizabeth Barrett Browning，1806—1861），詩(shī)人勃朗寧的妻子。早年負(fù)有詩(shī)名，但一直體弱多病。嫁給勃朗寧以后，愛(ài)情證明比藥物更有益于她的健康。勃朗寧稱(chēng)她為“一半天使，一半小鳥(niǎo)”。她則不停地寫(xiě)詩(shī)向勃朗寧表白自己的感情。后來(lái)這些詩(shī)匯集成《葡萄牙人十四行詩(shī)》出版，成為愛(ài)情詩(shī)的名作。
