Don't lose your hope

If you are living a pathetic life;
if you are discontented with your status quo;
if you think your future is dim and your hope is slim, don't lose your heart.
You never know what tomorrow will bring.
Having hope is easier said than done, especially when change doesn't seem to be around the corner, but keep in mind that caterpillars don't know they will become butterfly, but they never give up on growing into one.
如果你在過著卑微的生活，如果你不滿現(xiàn)狀，如果你覺得前途未卜，希望渺茫。永遠(yuǎn)不要失去盼望，因?yàn)槟悴恢烂魈鞎?huì)怎樣。保持希望說起來容易做起來難，特別是當(dāng)你覺得難過的時(shí)候，但是記住，毛毛蟲從來不知道自己會(huì)變成蝴蝶，他們卻從不放棄成為蝴蝶。
簡(jiǎn)單講解一下：
pathetic指可憐，病態(tài)，這里翻譯成卑微。
status quo是life的“文藝說法”，表示生存現(xiàn)狀，內(nèi)涵較廣。
future 可以用dim或者slim形容，表示前途渺茫。英文里面另有一個(gè)詞可以表示前途，前景，即prospect，可是prospect更加的formal，不適和用來形容個(gè)人的前途。
hope可以用slim來形容，表示“一線希望”“希望渺茫”。
don't lose your heart，別灰心。
easier said than done，說起來容易做起來難。
never give up，永不放棄。give up on sth，放棄期待某事。
