Wang Taotao, born in 1989, is a classic indoorsman who was once a professional player for an online game. His job now is to webcast his interpretation as he plays games. As a host of game webcast with a good reputation on internet, Wang owns large numbers of audience and fans. Wang webcasts almost every day with over five hours each day and his wife, also a hostess of game webcast, works with him. Wang makes a living by webcast, from which he gets paid by webcast company and also get money cashed in virtual gifts given by his audience or fans. Wang Taotao is just one among nearly a million web celebrities hosting webcast in China. Behind this are growing numbers of game players. It is estimated that China has over five hundred million game players. In 2015, China's online games companies got revenues of 89.12 billion yuan ($13.36 billion) in the first three quarters, up 33.9 percent from that of the same period of 2014.

1989年出生的王濤濤是一個典型的宅男，他還曾是一款網(wǎng)絡(luò)游戲的職業(yè)選手。目前他的工作是邊玩游戲邊進(jìn)行解說。作為一名網(wǎng)上有名的游戲主播，王濤濤擁有大量的觀眾和粉絲。王濤濤幾乎每天都在直播，平均每天直播5個小時以上。他的妻子也是一名游戲女主播，并同他一起工作。王濤濤靠直播生活，直播平臺會發(fā)放工資，也可以將直播中網(wǎng)友送的虛擬禮物變現(xiàn)。王濤濤只是中國百萬網(wǎng)絡(luò)主播名人中的一員。在此背后是中國日益壯大的游戲玩家群體。據(jù)估計中國擁有5億游戲玩家。2015年前三個季度中國網(wǎng)游公司收入達(dá)891.2億元(133.6億美金)，對比2014年同期上漲33.9%。
