In January of 2006, Alan Poster was surprised when he was told that his stolen Corvette had been recovered, 37 years after it disappeared from a parking garage in New York City.
On August 25, 2006, Poster revealed his fully restored 1968 Corvette at Carlisle, Pennsylvania. With $15,000 donated by CorvetteAmerica.com and work done by restoration shop California Classics, the car, now named “Reunion Blues” by Poster, is being rolled out in its newly restored glory. Poster is planning to use his now famous car to promote worthy causes.
