How to Celebrate Halloween?

1) Trick or Treat: The most popular form of celebrating Halloween is to go Trick or Treating. To Trick or Treating, kids will dress up like a monster or ghost or scary person, then go from house to house knocking on every door. The owner of the house will get to see the fun scary kids and will give the kids some candy.
惡作劇或款待：慶祝萬圣節(jié)最流行的節(jié)目是惡作劇或款待游戲， 孩子們穿成妖魔鬼怪的樣子嚇唬人，然后挨家挨戶敲門。房主打開門看到這些孩子會給他們一些糖果。
 

2) Bobbing for apples: A big bucket of water is put out. Then apples are left to float in the water. The contestants most pick up the apple with only their mouths. The first one to pick up an apple is the winner. They will get wet. It is fun. Have lots of towels handy!
漂浮的蘋果：倒一大桶水，讓蘋果漂浮在水上。參賽者只能用 嘴巴將蘋果叼起來，第一個將蘋果叼起來的人便是勝利者。參賽者們往往渾身濕透，很有趣。要準備很多毛巾。
 

3) Scare your friends or co-workers: Many kids and adults like to scare their friends. Jump out and say "BOO!"or use some fake blood and say your hand was cut off.
嚇唬你的朋友或同事：很多孩子和大人喜歡嚇他們的朋友。跳起來說"BOO!"，或抹上一些假血假裝自己的手被斷掉了。
 

4) Costume contest: At a party or school event, a group of many kids or adults take part in a contest to see who has the best, scariest, strangest and cutest costume.
服裝比賽：在晚會上或學校的活動中一群孩子或成人參加比賽，看誰的衣服最好、最可怕、最奇怪和最可愛。
 

5) Telling ghost stories around a fire: Usually near the end of Trick or Treating, friends will gather around a fire, all in monster costumes, and they will tell scary ghost stories. While the fire glows and evil red, each person tells the most horrible story they know.
圍著篝火講鬼故事：通常在惡作劇或款待游戲快結束的時候，朋友們會燃起一堆火，大家穿著魔鬼的服裝，講嚇人的鬼故事。篝火熊熊燃起，火光染紅了每一個妖怪，每個人講述著自己知道的最恐怖的故事。
