A five-star hotel in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu Province, has introduced a family reunion dinner on Chinese New Year's eve with a whopping price of 38,8888 yuan ($61,728). The dinner is regarded as the most expensive reunion dinner in China, the Singapore-based Lianhe Zaobao reported Monday.
日前位于中國東部的江蘇省蘇州市某五星級飯店推出除夕夜天價(jià)年夜飯,價(jià)格高達(dá)388888元。新加坡《聯(lián)合早報(bào)》報(bào)道稱,該年夜飯可謂中國最貴。
The dinner constitutes of ten top-level dishes as main course, including a dish of limited collection Ah Yat Abalone; braised white truffle and and stewed wild honeycomb and cubilose. In addition, in the "package" is also included a one-night stay in the hotel's presidential suite with a Hummer at disposition. Performances such as Suzhou Pintan and Suzhou embroideries will also be embodied during the reunion.
據(jù)了解,該年夜飯囊括了10道頂級主菜“頂級食材”,包括珍藏版阿一網(wǎng)鮑、白松露燴天九翅、野生蜂窩燉燕窩等。另外,年夜飯“套餐”還包含總統(tǒng)套房等住宿、悍馬接送。而諸如蘇州評彈、刺繡等節(jié)目也會登場給人們助興。
A manager surnamed Wang said that it is the first time for the hotel to promote such delicacy, targeting high-end consumer groups. The manager said as their service is "made to measure", customers who want to book it can consult with the hotel. "This super dinner will start from 3 pm on New Year's Eve and end at 10 am the next day. Special preferential demands are also open to talking," He said.

Xia Xueluan, a sociology professor from Peking University said that such expensive dinners would fulfill the consumption demand of certain groups. “People should be guided for a rational consumption, not for excessiveness," Xia said.
北京大學(xué)社會學(xué)教授夏學(xué)鑾認(rèn)為,天價(jià)年夜飯滿足了部分人群的消費(fèi)需求。“但是人們應(yīng)該有個理性消費(fèi)的導(dǎo)向,而非過度,”夏教授說道。
