賴清德將出任臺(tái)灣行政院院長(zhǎng)

Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen confirmed on Tuesday Tainan City Mayor Lai Ching-te will be Taiwan’s new premier.

臺(tái)灣總統(tǒng)蔡英文周二證實(shí)稱，臺(tái)南市市長(zhǎng)賴清德將成為臺(tái)灣的新任行政院院長(zhǎng)。

Mr Lai, 57, was expected to take the position after Premier Lin Chuan resigned on Sunday after 15 months in the role. The medical expert has been mayor of Tainan, one of Taiwan’s largest cities, since 2010 and served as a legislator in Taiwan’s parliament from 1999 to 2010.

57歲的賴清德將接替現(xiàn)任行政院院長(zhǎng)林全的位子。上周日，林全在任職15個(gè)月后辭職。自2010年以來(lái)，醫(yī)療專家賴清德已成為臺(tái)灣幾大城市之一臺(tái)南市的市長(zhǎng)。1999年至2010年，賴清德曾擔(dān)任臺(tái)灣立法院的立法委員。

Mr Lin, 65, a former finance minister, led the executive branch of Taiwan’s government since the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) took office on May 20, 2016.

林全現(xiàn)年65歲，曾任臺(tái)灣的財(cái)政部部長(zhǎng)。自2016年5月20日民進(jìn)黨(DPP)上臺(tái)以來(lái)，林全一直領(lǐng)導(dǎo)著臺(tái)灣政府的行政分支。

The new premier will likely lead a new-look cabinet, with local media reporting that a wider cabinet reshuffle is expected this week.

這位新行政院院長(zhǎng)將領(lǐng)導(dǎo)一個(gè)新內(nèi)閣。當(dāng)?shù)孛襟w報(bào)道稱，預(yù)計(jì)本周將實(shí)施一次大范圍的內(nèi)閣改組。
