四川八臺山建世界最高玻璃橋 你敢去走走嗎？

四川省萬源市八臺山玻璃橋日前全面建成，并將在2月中旬對公眾開放。這座玻璃橋是世界最高的玻璃橋，飛架川渝兩省市，懸掛于獨角巖與轉(zhuǎn)運臺之間，將重慶城口與四川萬源連接起來。

China's obsession with glass-bottomed bridges have reached new heights - literally.

中國人對于玻璃橋的熱愛再掀高潮。

A new see-through footpath has been built at a staggering altitude of 6,500 feet in south-west China's Batai Mountain, according to Chinese media.

據(jù)中國媒體報道，中國西南部八臺山上搭建了一架海拔高達6500英尺(約合1981米)的玻璃橋。

The vertigo-inducing walkway is believed to be the world's highest glass-bottomed bridge, beating the previous record holder, the Zhangjiajie glass bridge, by around 1,800 feet.

據(jù)稱，這架讓人眩暈的高橋是世界最高的玻璃橋，比之前的紀(jì)錄保持者張家界玻璃橋的海拔高出了1800英尺(約合548米)。

張家界玻璃橋懸于半空，全長430米，寬6米，垂直高度達300米。站在橋上面可以一覽張家界國家森林公園的壯麗景觀。但對外開放后由于游客太多太火爆曾出現(xiàn)停運。

The impressive bridge, which cost 10 million yuan to build, connects Chengkou in the municipality of Chongqing with Wanyuan of Sichuan province. It's currently undergoing safety tests and is set to open to the public in mid-February.

八臺山這架令人驚嘆的玻璃橋造價1000萬元，將重慶城口與四川萬源連接起來。目前玻璃橋正在接受安全檢測，并將在2月中旬對外開放。

The 2.5-metre-wide transparent footpath is covered with three-layered laminated glass panels. A viewing platform has been built under the bridge.

透明的玻璃橋面寬2.5米，覆蓋有三層夾層安全玻璃嵌板。橋下還有一個觀景臺。

It's reported that a maximum of 80 tourists are allowed to stand on the bridge at the same time.

It's built on Batai Mountain, where it's crowned to be the place where 'the first beam of light shine on Sichuan'.

八臺山被譽為“四川第一縷陽光照進”的地方。

According to Xinhua, the 198-metre-long bridge is built over 186-metre above a sheer drop, which is roughly the height of a 66-storey building.

據(jù)新華社報道，玻璃橋主跨198米，橋面距谷底相對高度有66層樓高，約186米。

The vertical distance between the bridge and the bottom of the valley is said to be the third longest in China.

這座玻璃橋橋面距谷底的相對高度據(jù)稱在全國排名第三。

Batai Mountain also has China's highest cliff glass walkway. Opened in August, 2016, the walkway hangs on the side of a vertical rock face at an altitude of 2,288 metres.

八臺山還擁有全國海拔最高的玻璃棧道。玻璃棧道在2016年8月對公眾開放，位于一處垂直懸崖邊上，海拔高達2288米。
