印度一中學(xué)只有一名學(xué)生就讀

The Government Girls Secondary School at Lukhivillage in Rewari has only one student, studying in Class 7, and only one teacher to impart lessons.

在印度雷瓦里的盧克希村，政府女子中學(xué)里只有一名在上7年級(jí)的學(xué)生在讀，并且也只有一位老師在授課。

Daya Kishan, the sole teacher of the school, earns a salary of 70,000 Rupees per month.

這位唯一的老師名叫達(dá)亞·基尚，每月薪水為7萬(wàn)盧比。

He said, "I am a social studies teacher but I teach all subjects to my student. Even though mathematics is not my strong suit, I teach her whatever I can."

他表示：“我是一名社會(huì)科學(xué)學(xué)科的教師，但是我要學(xué)生教授所有科目。雖然數(shù)學(xué)不是我的強(qiáng)項(xiàng)，但是我仍在盡力去教她。”

Kusum Kumari, the only student in the school, said she doesn't mind being the only student, though "the one thing I miss is friends".

庫(kù)蘇姆·庫(kù)馬里就是那名孤獨(dú)的學(xué)生。她稱(chēng)自己并不介意是唯一的學(xué)生，但“唯一的問(wèn)題是很思念朋友們。”

 

The school building has three rooms, which are used for storage, while the teacher and the student sit outside on the porch.

這所學(xué)校里共有三個(gè)房間用來(lái)存放東西，老師和學(xué)生則是坐在外面的走廊。

The Government Primary School, which has 21 students, is located just half a kilometre away from it. Kusum's mother is in charge of distributing mid-day meal among students of both these condary and primary schools.

距離該校500米的政府小學(xué)則有21名學(xué)生。庫(kù)蘇姆的母親負(fù)責(zé)給這兩所學(xué)校的學(xué)生分發(fā)午餐。

In 2014-15, the number dropped to 12. In 2016-17, the number doubled but currently, only one girl attends school. Besides teaching his one student, Daya Kishan also sweeps the school.

在2014到2015年，這所學(xué)校有12人在讀。2016到2017年，學(xué)生的數(shù)量增加了一倍;但是到了今年，就只剩下一個(gè)女孩了。除了教學(xué)，基尚老師還要為學(xué)校做衛(wèi)生。

He said, "Every year, the education department spends 8.5 lakh Rupees on a school. The situation here does not look good. This child should be sent to another school."

他說(shuō)：“教育部每年給一所學(xué)校撥款85萬(wàn)盧比。這里的情況看起來(lái)不太好，這個(gè)孩子應(yīng)該被送到另一所學(xué)校學(xué)習(xí)。”
