　　倒計時在英語中可以用“countdown”來表達(dá)。

　　Count means to say numbers one after the other in order, or to calculate the number of people or things in a group. Count在英語中意為數(shù)數(shù)，計數(shù)。Countdown可以理解為倒著數(shù)，自然就是倒計時的意思啦。The countdown to… 意為… 的倒計時。

　　All the schools will begin their final countdown soon.所有的學(xué)校將很快開始最后的倒計時。

　　Students are more nervous than ever before the countdown to college entrance examination.在高考倒計時前，學(xué)生們比平時緊張得多。
