美軍將于9月11日前全部撤出阿富汗

US President Joe Biden announced on Wednesday that all US troops will be withdrawn from Afghanistan before Sept 11, a decision to end the longest war in American history.

美國總統(tǒng)拜登4月14日宣布，美軍將于9月11日前全部撤出阿富汗，終結(jié)這場美國史上最久的戰(zhàn)爭。

"The United States will begin our final withdrawal, beginning on May 1 of this year," Biden said in his remarks at the White House. "US troops, as well as forces deployed by our NATO allies and operational partners, will be out of Afghanistan before we mark the 20th anniversary of that heinous attack on Sept 11." Biden delivered the address in the Treaty Room, the same place where then-President George W. Bush informed the nation that the US military had begun airstrikes against terrorists in Afghanistan nearly two decades ago.

拜登當(dāng)天下午在白宮條約廳就阿富汗撤軍問題發(fā)表講話，這里也是前總統(tǒng)小布什20年前宣布美軍發(fā)動對阿富汗境內(nèi)恐怖分子空中打擊的地方。拜登表示，撤軍行動將于5月1日起展開，駐阿富汗美軍和北約部隊(duì)等盟軍將在9.11恐襲20周年前全部撤離。

"It is time to end America's longest war. It is time for American troops to come home," he said, noting that the US has achieved counterterrorism objectives in this war.

他表示，美國在阿富汗戰(zhàn)爭中已完成反恐目標(biāo)，"是時候結(jié)束這場美國最長的戰(zhàn)爭，是時候讓美軍回家了"。
