英國(guó)薩里郡發(fā)現(xiàn)害蟲(chóng)“臭屁蟲(chóng)”

為輔助一項(xiàng)監(jiān)測(cè)研究，專(zhuān)家在英格蘭薩里郡捕捉了一只會(huì)危害莊稼、侵?jǐn)_房屋的 “臭屁蟲(chóng)”。

Brown marmorated stinkbugsare tiny dull shield-shaped insects which get their name from the strong odour they emit when threatened. They've become a nuisance in the US, invading homes in their hundreds and destroying farmers' crops.

茶翅蝽是一種體型很小的褐色盾形昆蟲(chóng)，因受威脅時(shí)會(huì)發(fā)出惡臭而得名 “臭屁蟲(chóng)”。它們已經(jīng)成為了美國(guó)的一大公害，數(shù)以百計(jì)的蟲(chóng)子侵入家園，還毀壞農(nóng)民的莊稼。

The loneadult male stink bugwas discovered at Wisley Gardens in Surrey. The insect's been found in the UK only a handful of times before, and there's concern it could become established here.

這個(gè)單只的成年雄性蝽是在英格蘭薩里郡的威斯利花園被發(fā)現(xiàn)的。此前，這種昆蟲(chóng)在英國(guó)只被發(fā)現(xiàn)過(guò)寥寥幾次，如今有人擔(dān)心它們會(huì)在這里繁衍。

Experts say the bug may have arrived on imported goods or as part of a yet undiscovered local population.

專(zhuān)家認(rèn)為，這種蟲(chóng)子可能是通過(guò)進(jìn)口商品傳入英國(guó)的，或者是本地尚未發(fā)現(xiàn)的一批蝽蟲(chóng)的一部分。

The government said the insect was not a significant threat to British crops. But as with all pests and diseases, it would continue to monitor any threats closely.
