China will not include affordable rental housing loans in the management system that sets caps on real estate loans, the country's central bank said Tuesday. Financial institutions should scale up support for affordable rental housing in accordance with the law while managing risks and pursuing sustained development, according to a statement jointly issued by the People's Bank of China and the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission.
中國(guó)人民銀行、銀保監(jiān)會(huì)2月8日公布相關(guān)通知,明確保障性租賃住房項(xiàng)目有關(guān)貸款不納入房地產(chǎn)貸款集中度管理,鼓勵(lì)銀行業(yè)金融機(jī)構(gòu)按照依法合規(guī)、風(fēng)險(xiǎn)可控、商業(yè)可持續(xù)的原則,加大對(duì)保障性租賃住房發(fā)展的支持力度。
The move is expected to increase loan issuances for affordable rental housing projects and aims to further improve the country's housing support system, the PBOC said.
央行表示,此舉將增加對(duì)保障性租賃住房項(xiàng)目的貸款發(fā)放,旨在進(jìn)一步完善我國(guó)的住房保障體系。
