【finish的用法】
finish這個(gè)字是表示“結(jié)束，完成”的意思，后面可以直接接受詞，比如說是工作或是家庭作業(yè)等。
A: Have you finished that assignment yet?
指派給你的那項(xiàng)工作完成了沒？
B: Um...not quite.
呃……不完全。
另外，需要特別注意的是如果finish后面接動(dòng)詞的話，則動(dòng)詞需為動(dòng)名詞形態(tài)。
A: I knew if I kept at it, I'd eventually finish writing my book.
我知道如果我持續(xù)下去，最后一定可以寫完這本書。
