中印邊界“對(duì)峙”英語(yǔ)怎么說(shuō)

5月5日，在拉達(dá)克地區(qū)對(duì)峙的中印兩國(guó)陸軍同時(shí)向后撤退，暫時(shí)結(jié)束了已持續(xù)三周的邊界對(duì)峙。

Beijing confirmed on Monday that China and India have made positive developments in a three-week border standoff, and called for joint efforts to create a “fair and reasonable” border treaty.

中國(guó)政府周一表示，中國(guó)和印度兩國(guó)就延續(xù)三周的邊界對(duì)峙事件協(xié)商已取得積極進(jìn)展，并呼吁雙方共同努力以達(dá)成一個(gè)“公平合理”的邊界問題協(xié)議。

中印兩國(guó)的邊界對(duì)峙(border standoff)始于今年4月中旬，印方指責(zé)中國(guó)軍隊(duì)越界進(jìn)入印度領(lǐng)土(trespass on Indian territory)，而中方則表示，中國(guó)軍隊(duì)一直致力于維護(hù)邊界地區(qū)的和平與安寧(peace and tranquility)，未曾跨過印方實(shí)際控制線(the Line of Actual Control)。

Standoff指對(duì)立雙方互不相讓的僵持對(duì)峙狀態(tài)，比如，去年中國(guó)和菲律賓之間持續(xù)長(zhǎng)達(dá)一月有余的黃巖島僵局(Huangyan Island standoff)，“陷入僵局”可以說(shuō)come to/reach a standoff，雙方僵持的狀態(tài)也可叫confrontation(對(duì)峙)。
