《溪居》是唐代文學(xué)家柳宗元被貶永州后的詩(shī)作。這首詩(shī)描寫(xiě)他被貶官到有“南荒”之稱的永州后，在溪邊筑室而居，過(guò)著閑適的生活。表面上自我排遣，也自得其樂(lè)，實(shí)際上曲折地表達(dá)被貶謫的幽憤，字里行間隱含了作者壯志難酬的苦悶之情。

Liu Zongyuan
For long being entangled by ties of office,
I sense fine hap as an exile to the wild South.
In my leisurely sojourn with farming neighbours,
I feel I am somewhat like a mountain sylvan.
In daybreak tillage upturning dewy weeds,
In nightly row resounding oar strokes from bank rocks,
I come and go without meeting anyone.
And sing aloud 'neath the azure sky of Chu.
