馬洛（Christopher Marlowe，1564-1593），文藝復(fù)興時(shí)期英國(guó)戲劇家兼詩(shī)人，他改革了中世紀(jì)戲劇形式，繼承了文藝復(fù)興早期戲劇的優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)，創(chuàng)作了《帖木兒大帝》等一系列優(yōu)秀悲劇作品，創(chuàng)造出文藝復(fù)興時(shí)期的巨人形象，體現(xiàn)了人文主義精神和浪漫主義風(fēng)格。馬洛也寫過(guò)一些詩(shī)歌作品，它們大多清新、歡快、明朗。較為人們熟悉的就是這首《熱情的牧童對(duì)愛人說(shuō)》，它以牧歌的形式描寫詩(shī)人向姑娘表達(dá)愛慕之心，語(yǔ)言樸素洗練，感情強(qiáng)烈大膽，與當(dāng)時(shí)許多情詩(shī)中的凄婉哀怨情調(diào)完全不同。

That hills and valleys, dale and field,
