在過(guò)去某個(gè)時(shí)間或某個(gè)動(dòng)作發(fā)生之前的動(dòng)作

Tina had already left when I got there.

當(dāng)我到的時(shí)候Tina已經(jīng)離開(kāi)了。

Tina had gone home before I arrived there.

Tina在我到達(dá)之前就已經(jīng)回家了。

The train had left before I got to the station.

我到火車(chē)站時(shí)那班火車(chē)已經(jīng)離站了。

He had studied French for two years before he went to France.

他去法國(guó)前已學(xué)了兩年的法文了。

I didn't go to see the movie "The Sound of Music" with my daughter yesterday because I had already seen the film twice.
