5．Are You New In this Class
你剛到這個班上嗎

A: Hi. Are you new in this class?
你剛到這個班上嗎?

B: Yes, I am. I really don’t know anyone.
是的，我誰也不認識。

A: Did you just arrive in this country? You look a little nervous.
你是不是剛到這個國家? 你看上去有點拘束。

B: No. I was here last semester, but I didn’t find out about this class in time. So I’m taking it this semester.
不是，我上學期就來了。不過我沒趕上這班，所以這學期才上。

A: I took this course last semester too. Now I am taking it again!
我上學期就在學這門課，現(xiàn)在又在學！

B: How is it? Do you learn anything here? Why are you taking it again?
這課怎樣? 你學了什么沒有? 你為什么再學一遍呀？

A: Wow, you have a lot of questions! I learned a lot. In fact, that’s why I am taking it again. I get lots of practice in speaking, and also in writing. I’m sure you’ll be glad you took this course. I’ll even help you study if you’d like.
