Jessie: Oh, come on, this isn't fair---
Mark: One more thing. I was jealous of you.
Jessie: ...You were?
Mark: Yes. But not for the reason you think. I was jealous of you because you were healthy, because you had your whole life ahead of you.
Jessie: No. Really?
Mark: Yes! Of course, yes. Do you have any idea of the guilt that a sick person carries around, knowing that they're ruining the lives of everyone they love? The whole experience is one big drag, but the guilt thing is definitely one of the highlights. (pause.) Okay, I'm done. Carry on.
