A: I hate wasting my time waiting for people who are constantly late.

B: Are you talking about me?
你在說(shuō)我嗎?
A: Of course I am talking about you. I’ve been waiting here for an hour, you inconsiderate jerk!
我當(dāng)然是說(shuō)你!我在這兒等了一個(gè)小時(shí)了,你這個(gè)不顧別人的傻瓜!
B: I’m sorry. I’m sorry! I just didn’t realize the time.

Kim’s Note: I know this word is not used in the same way and with nearly as much frequency in Chinese. It is a culture difference. Americans use this word even when they are describing something they only dislike slightly.
我知道,在中國(guó)這個(gè)詞的用法不一樣,使用頻率也沒那么高。這是個(gè)文化差異的問題。美國(guó)人哪怕只是形容他們有一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)不喜歡的事也會(huì)用這個(gè)詞來(lái)表達(dá)。
