A Terrific Class
The first day of school began on a bright note for a teacher who was glancing over the class roll．After each student‘s name was a number，such as １３８，１４０，１５４and so on．“Look at these IQs ，”she thought to herself．“They’ve given me a terrific class．”
As a result，the elated teacher worked harder with this class than with her others．She tried new innovations that she thought would challenge them and hold their interest．And it worked．The class did much better than any of her other classes，which s he had taught in the usual way．Only later did she find out that the figures after each pupil’s name stood for their locker numbers．
一 個(gè) 好 得 不 能 再 好 的 班
開學(xué)第一天，一位老師看了一眼學(xué)生名單，對(duì)她來說，這一天開始得真令人振奮。每個(gè)學(xué)生名字后面都有一個(gè)數(shù)字，如１３８，１４０，１５４等等。“瞧這些學(xué)生的智商，”她心中想道。“他們給了我一個(gè)好得不能再好的班！”
