     As is vividly revealed in the drawing, a student is reclining on the ground dreaming about opportunities. The caption underneath says, "Why do opportunities always pass me by?"
     It has been well said that if you want to realize your dreams, you must first wake up. The student in the drawing obviously hasn't woken up yet so any opportunities that are nearby are passing him by while he is still sleeping. When opportunities come our way, we must first realize that they are opportunities, and then grasp them firmly with both hands. Only then will we be able to progress in our lives whether personally, academically, financially or careerwise.
     Many of our opportunities are the result of hard work and perseverance. While taking advantage of one's endowments and existing opportunities is important, new opportunities can only be created through one's efforts and action.

     有句話說(shuō)得好：如果你想實(shí)現(xiàn)夢(mèng)想，必須先醒過(guò)來(lái)。畫(huà)中的學(xué)生顯然還沒(méi)醒來(lái)，所以在他睡覺(jué)的時(shí)候附近的機(jī)遇就都與他擦身而過(guò)了。當(dāng)機(jī)遇降臨在我們身上，我們必須先要意識(shí)到它們是機(jī)遇，然后用雙手緊緊地抓住它們。只有到那時(shí)，我們才能在我們生活中的各個(gè)方面有所進(jìn)步，無(wú)論在個(gè)人、學(xué)業(yè)、經(jīng)濟(jì)方面，還是在事業(yè)方面。
     我們的許多機(jī)遇源于勤奮和堅(jiān)持不懈。雖然利用一個(gè)人的天賦和現(xiàn)有的機(jī)遇十分重要，但是新的機(jī)遇只能通過(guò)自身努力和實(shí)際行動(dòng)才能創(chuàng)造出來(lái)。
